COLUMBIA, S.C. (October 20, 2016) —The Congaree Vista Guild, the membership organization for business and property owners, as well as residents, art galleries and museums in the Vista, has launched its new website, VistaColumbia.com. The new site features information on the Vista’s businesses, entertainment, dining and lodging options as an event calendar, designed to help thousands of annual visitors to the district and longtime fans of the Vista navigate and find the Vista experience that suits them.

The site’s Eat & Drink, Shop & Explore, Stay & Relax and Events & Entertainment navigation options help site visitors decided exactly what to do and where to go while in the Vista. There are also pages for annual events, Artista Vista and Vista Lights, as well as a map of the district, a downloadable visitor’s guide and information on parking. The Vista Guild recently released a new video to provide an overview of the Vista’s history and recent growth and announced new branding, which are both integral parts of the organization’s vibrant new website.

“The new website really gives the thousands of visitors we see in the Vista each year a full picture of everything this historic neighborhood has to offer,” said Meredith Atkinson, executive director of the Vista Guild. “We’re also excited about increased functionality for Vista businesses whose events will be featured on the site’s calendar and whose businesses have a detailed listing and are categorized so that patrons can find them easily. Members and potential members can also learn more about opportunities with the Vista Guild.”

The Vista Guild worked with local web developers DuBose Web to design the new site.
