Congaree Vista Guild Opens Entries for Juried Art Show

The Congaree Vista Guild is accepting submissions for the 2026 Artista Vista Curated Exhibition, “Rooted.” The exhibition will run April 17-May 29, 2026 at Richland Library Main.
The second annual group exhibition will be curated by Jillian Marie Browning, assistant professor of photography at the University of Alabama Birmingham. Monetary awards will be given for first, second and third prizes.
Midlands artists are encouraged to submit their work for consideration at https://www.vistacolumbia.com/special-events/artista-vista. A complete set of rules and eligibility guidelines can be found at this site. All media are welcome, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, ceramics, fiber, film, video, digital art, time-based art and analog works. There is a $10 non-refundable submission fee per submission with two submissions allowed per artist.
Artista Vista, a weekend-long arts event, will be celebrating its 34th year in 2026, and will include a gallery crawl, lantern parade and Live Art Mart. Live on Lincoln, a fundraiser for the performing arts, will conclude Artista Vista on Sunday evening.
